We are thrilled to announce that ISTU 2026 will be held in beautiful Trondheim, Norway. Please mark your calendars now to join scientists, engineers, clinicians and industry from around the world for a very special 25th Annual International Symposium on Therapeutic Ultrasound.
The Annual Symposium will be held at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology right in the heart of Trondheim, from June 15 - 18, 2026. The meeting will bring together nearly 500 attendees worldwide.

The Gala Event will begin with a very special organ concert at Nidarosdomen, the Nidaros Cathedral. Experience the beautiful music in the world’s northernmost medieval cathedral which has been a pilgrim destination for almost 1000 years. After the concert, we will walk next door to the Archbishop's Palace to celebrate with colleagues with dinner and desserts of Norwegian delights! Beer and Wine is included.

The Late-Breaking Abstracts (Posters Only) Submissions System opened on March 10, 2026. The system will close at 11:59pm EST on April 6, 2026. No submissions will be accepted after that date. The Scientific Committee will review Late-Breaking abstracts and notification of acceptance or rejection will be made by email by April 13, 2026.

The Future of Therapeutic Ultrasound Poster Session
We are excited for the fifth annual session of the Future of Therapeutic Ultrasound! This poster session will provide a great opportunity for academic and industry recruiters to speak directly with current graduate students and postdoctoral researchers who are actively seeking positions.
This session is open to any early career scientists or senior graduate students who are expected to be on the job market within the next 2 years. Separate tracks will be available for individuals pursuing academic and industry career opportunities.

2026 Pricing
Beginning June 1, 2026, full refunds will no longer be available if you cancel your registration. In-Person Registrations may still be converted to Virtual Registrations, with appropriate refunds issued. There will be no refunds for any Virtual Registrations. Beginning June 5th, there will be no refunds for any registration types.
