President’s Award

The President's Award

The President's Award honors outstanding accomplishments and unique contributions to the field of therapeutic ultrasound in general, and  brings a focus to those inspiring dedication to the Society. Potential recipients of this award are nominated by the President, and ratified by the Board. This award is given at the discretion of the president, typically once in their presidential term, and may be awarded at the Annual Symposium or other ISTU Special Sessions.

Past recipients of this distinguished award include:

• Professor Gail ter Haar, Ph.D. (ISTU 2025, Banff, Canada)
• Professor Charles Cain (Special ISTU session at the FUS Foundation Meeting, November, 2020)
