About the Professor

Dr. Ying Meng is a neurosurgeon scientist at the University of Toronto. She completed her residency training at the University of Toronto and her PhD at Sunnybrook Research Institute. Her research interest pertains to the application of transcranial focused ultrasound for blood-brain barrier disruption. With the team at Sunnybrook, she led some of the first clinical trials to test MR-guided focused ultrasound in patients with neurodegenerative disorders and brain tumors.
